The project
The PANDA analytical platform (Plateau Analytique Désiré aux Archives glaciaires) brings together the instruments and expertise necessary for the analysis of ice samples : chemical and isotopic composition of the ice and the air trapped in it, dust, sooty carbon. Although intended for glaciology, the PANDA platform is adaptable to the chemical analysis of any type of sample in aqueous solution (river water, ground water, rainwater, solution, etc.), and therefore also concerns hydrology, geochemistry, etc...
This platform provides the means to carry out major national and international programmes financed in a high-performance environment, while enabling the players to project themselves into competitive future projects.
